The Graphic Canon Vol. 1 (3pts)

 This was a nice comic book it had its ups and downs, It has some broad literary stories but they were not like the other comics I have read it did not make me want to read more. Or maybe it was because I knew some and could tell what would possibly happen next. there are great prefaces to each adaptation contextualizing the text and its graphic adaptation.My main complaint is that a lot of the adaptations are short and come from the middle of books and they are confusing and unsatisfying. The one that I  enjoyed the most was tales from the Mayan. But I would say overall it was interesting to see different styles and so many great stories in this comic form.
