Life on Another Planet (3pts)

 I was super glad and happy to finally be able to read a sci-fi graphic novel for the class. Before I even get to it I just want to say Will Eisner's art is amazing, he is just such a great illustrator. His facial expressions the characters even the background is amazing. 

Just look at this amazing image.

Besides his drawing skills, he is also a really good writer.

The story deals with the first encounter of an extraterrestrial sign and how countries decided to handle it socially and politically.

Eisner manages to blend sci-fi,cold war, politics and demerits of nationalism together in this beautiful graphic novel.

One issue I had could have been that how he managed the dialogues some were long and seemed squeezed in some of the panels.

The way the book establishes a scenario and then follows the logical framework of this scenario shows also to us that Eisner's understanding of politics and just human nature. He is a good observer.I really loved reading this graphic novel!
