Best of Young Romance(3points)

Joe Simon and Jack Kirby's nice a little old fashioned cheesy but fun comic. It was fun to read but the drawings felt repeated especially the woman character the drawings and the characteristics of the female characters were too similar. That's why I hesitated to read more of the second story. But still overall not considering its outdated gender roles I really had fun reading the story. It was interesting and it made me wonder what decisions the characters were going to take. The stories are fun and full of emotions and it involved around adult characters no wonder they were popular just what people needed at the time to fill the emptiness in. Especially interesting in the collection is the contrast in story-lines pre/post censorship bylaws. It maybe does not really fit in the romance genre these days but it is really interesting to see what they come up with and to see the character evolving into the story.
